They get fluffy and coat the CPU/RAM chips in a green mist. Its pretty to look at until you realize it's eating it away hehe

The shitty part is, the Schleuniger machines I fix today - use Varta. And they are still just as shit and leak everywhere
FishGuy876(16:22:17)
Yes. The 68K cpu is right there by that bad Varta, all my machine shave the batteries cut out. Ive lost a few good machines to dodgy varta batteries over my lifetime

my father has an A2000 in his basement, but it's pretty damaged from a leaky battery
LimeProselyte(16:16:52)
one of these days I'd love to have my own A1200 again
FishGuy876(15:47:42)
I also have a nice Gotek, a buddy was making them with the fancy LCD screens and turn knobs, its just sitting in a box waiting for me to do womething with it hehe

It also emulates an RTG card, so i have hdmi output. Seems the best option vs. spending hundreds on a graphics card alone
FishGuy876(15:36:44)
PiStorm emulates the CPU, and memory, so you can have a few hundred megs of fast mem. It still uses all the rest of the onboard chips like Paula so audio recordings etc. are still real

Im also torn as to get it for the 1200, or the A2000
