The shitty part is, the Schleuniger machines I fix today - use Varta. And they are still just as shit and leak everywhere

Yes. The 68K cpu is right there by that bad Varta, all my machine shave the batteries cut out. Ive lost a few good machines to dodgy varta batteries over my lifetime

I also have a nice Gotek, a buddy was making them with the fancy LCD screens and turn knobs, its just sitting in a box waiting for me to do womething with it hehe
