TRSI is an acronym for Tristar and Red Sector, Incorporated. Founded by a supplier from Germany who went under the pseudonym Irata [1], TRSI began in 1990 as a cooperative Commodore 64 demo coding and cracking group. The alliance between Tristar and Red Sector, Inc. was formed after different group members met up at KewL Party in Denmark. Red Sector became widely known in Amiga demo scene by releasing Red Sector Megademo in 1989. The demo was created by a section called TCC design. Later it became one of the most remembered Amiga demos. TRSI naturally migrated from the C64 release platform to the Amiga and IBM-PC, then branching off into the console gaming scene.
